An Online Community for San Diego Motorcyclists By The Red Hot Riders MC

Who we are!

This community was made for all of the motorcycle riders in San Diego County regardless of club affiliation, type of bike, or style of rider. I belong to the Red Hot Riders Club and I would like a place to easily find like minded people who enjoy riding. This community will be managed by members of the Red Hot Riders MC and any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Groups can be made for specific clubs or interests. Feel free to upload pictures of your ride, along with homemade videos. Have an event you want to promote for other riders, post it here. Pimp out your own "MY PAGE" and have fun on our new community.

One of the most important things you can do to reduce your riding risk is to inspect your motorcycle every time you ride. By following the "T-CLOCS" checklist, it's easy to remember what to check. It only takes a few minutes – and could make the difference between an enjoyable ride and a frustrating experience.

On the ever vigilant look ahead, scanning the road, I am constantly looking for things NOT to hit while riding. In my history of driving and riding I have been hit by more things than actually having a classic "accident." (knock-wood) The other day a rouge tire tread was kicked up by the car ahead of me and I saw it fly up, I scooted over a few inches and instead of hitting the front of my bike, it bounced off my shin, just below my knee. Thank you, Craig for the suberb map of today's route near Mexico. It was FUN. And thank you, Eric, for leading us. After being away from the club for a couple of years, I must say, it's great to be back riding with such a nice group. How can you go wrong, really, by planning a stop at the Wisteria Candy Cottage? Can Am Spyder Anyone ???

Hi Guys, I was at the LA Auto Show this weekend kicking tires, and came across the Bert's M/C Dealer display of the 3 wheeled Can Am Spyder. Looks pretty interesting and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with one of these. It might be something that could replace my BMW R1150RT to do some touring with my wife. Any thoughts ?
